With the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, Amazon looks to shoot towards top of tablet hierarchy because of three main features—excellent pricing, an awesome content ecosystem and real time customer care for free.

The new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet looks similar to last year’s model from outside but has overhauled Wi-Fi transmission system, new engine, updated operating system and some audio tweaks. It has new Snapdragon 805 processor which according to Amazon is 70 percent faster delivering graphics. With the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, Amazon looks to shoot towards top of tablet hierarchy because of three main features—excellent pricing, an awesome content ecosystem and real time customer care for free.

The HDX 8.9 has an 8-megapixel rear camera and color accurate, low-glare sharper screen. Currently this is lightest large tablet available in market especially when you use the great discounts available with Amazon coupon codes. Let’s take a look at some of its features and significant points:

Design

Fire HDX 8.9 has been thoughtfully designed and weighs 0.82 pounds which is extremely light for a large tablet. It can be held in one hand easily and is well balanced. Volume rocker and power button are now at the back and can be comparatively found and pressed easily.

It can be irritating to pick up on waking up as it has to be picked up first for reaching the back rather than tapping a button on the side. The front facing camera is included along with actual camera app and there is 8-megapixel back camera too.

Mojito

The new version of Android on the HDX 8.9 is dubbed Mojito and is based on the Android Jelly Bean which is only refinement of OS of last year. Now swiping up from home screen indicates display of your installed apps. With the new higher resolution screen, all the menu items can be seen at once from top of home screen.

The Silk browser now feels more useful for accessing the Web. Pages get loaded quickly when swiped. Taps are now more accurate while tapping links and are impressive while typing. Redesigned e-mail requires lesser steps for setting up and is compatible with the threaded conversation. Now instead of seeing single e-mail from every person in conversation, a message from last person can be seen.

Managing storage has become easier on the HDX 8.9 too.  You can locate items by type and deleted unwanted items on the fly. Inclusion of the Snapdragon 800 processor has given enough horsepower to supply the new interface overhead.  Accessing various sections is less stressful; the content is well organized on the Kindle Fire interface.

Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 houses Snapdragon 800 system-on chip and Krait 400 CPU. It is fastest version of SoC. The new Adreno 420 graphics processor delivers high frame rates and console-quality graphics. Graphic-intensive games and advanced apps are ultra-responsive and run smoothly, using less battery power.

The device's rich, multi-dimensional audio provides crisp, clear sound and no detectable distortion. Plus, this is the the first tablet with Dolby Atmos for a new headphone experience. Atmos transforms the headphone listening experience by creating multidimensional sound that flows above and around you. In a movie with Dolby Atmos, sound seems to move around you to match what you see on the screen—rain on a roof, airplanes taking off—so you'll hear the sounds where they would be in real life.

Additional enhancements include 5.1 multi-channel sound field, playback volume consistency, dynamically adjusting audio content, and clear movie dialog for Amazon Instant Video.

Performance

The HDX 8.9 has one most pixel-dense screens on the market. Measuring at 8.9 inches, the screen packs a mighty 2,5600 x 1.600 pixel resolution equaling 339 pixels-per-inch.

The bright vibrant screen is crisp, sharp and perfectly legible, even using tiny text. Clouding is less severe than other tablets and it does not display yellow tint. Gaming performance was very good. When we tested the game Asphalt 8, it ran well but not quite as smoothly as in HDX 7, potentially because of high resolution in HDX 8.9.

Navigation performance is certainly zippier in this device. Find out more about the best deals and coupons to buy it at www.CouponDekho.co.in.
