In a recent talk for the IBM Impact 2012 conference, Isaacson relates how innovation and the creative drive powered Einstein, Franklin and Jobs into their places in history.
W alter Isaacson is arguably today's most influential biographer.  He has written biographies of Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, and most recently — Steve Jobs.

In fact, as Isaacson relates, it was Jobs' personal view of himself as a great thinker and a historical figure that led him to ask Isaacson to write his own autobiography.

Isaacson, the CEO of the Aspen Institute, has been chairman of CNN and the managing editor of Time magazine.  He was also recently selected as one of that magazines 100 most influential people.
