Perry Kinkaide The Singularity In An Industry Community Context

Dr.Perry Kinkaide is the founder and President (on-leave) of the Alberta Council of Technologies, former Managing Director of KPMG Consulting in Edmonton and Assistant Deputy Minister with the Alberta Government.Upon retirement in 2001, Perry established KEI, for allocating venture capital and assigning operating officers to emerging technology-based, enterprises in Western Canada.

Perry continues to provide consulting and advisory services to both the public and private sectors. Recognized in the July 2007 by Alberta Venture magazine as one of 50 "most influential" Albertans.

Below we have embedded Dr. Kincaide's lecture on "The Singularity in an Industry/Community Context" on March 29, 2012.

The first twenty minutes or so provides mainly a biographical background of Dr. Kinkaid's prior work and how he became involved with technology.
