Google Glasses Will Also Work With Prescription Glasses

Friday, April 13, 2012

One of the big questions we have about its Project Glass is could it work even the user wears prescription glasses?

Industrial designer Isabelle Olsson told Engadget the team ideally wants it to work for everyone, and posted a photo of the Glass-on-glasses mockup shown above to her Google+ page. Olsson states:
We ideally want Project Glass to work for everyone, and we're experimenting with designs that are meant to be extendable to different types of frames. Many of our team members wear glasses, too, so it's definitely something we're thinking about.
Unless you are Sergei Brinthis doesn't bring you any closer to going retinas-on with the heads-up display augmented reality project yourself, but hopefully it keeps the dream alive even for the near / far sighted among us.
