In a recent interview, Silicon Valley pioneer, Elon Musk stated that artificial intelligence is the single biggest thing that is likely to impact humanity's future.
"AI is probably the single biggest item in the near-term that's likely to affect humanity."

Y Combinator recently released a series called, "How to Build the Future," with interviews with prominent Silicon Valley personalities including the cofounder of Paypal, SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk.At the start of the interview, Musk is asked if he would change any of the five big problems he started working on when he was younger. Above all he thinks that, "AI is probably the single biggest item in the near-term that's likely to affect humanity."
Musk states, "It's very important that we have the advent of AI in a good way. It's something that, if you could look into the crystal ball and to the future, you would like that outcome because it is something that could go wrong, as we've talked about many times. And so, we really need to make sure it goes right."
