It has been announced that Viv co-founder and CEO Dag Kittlaus will appear onstage at the Disrupt NY 2016 conference in May to talk about the future of artificial intelligence and give the first public demonstration of what Viv has built.

The company's goal is to become a platform for developers to add an intelligent, conversational interface for many varied applications. When Kittlaus left Apple, he wrote an article called ‘Siri Is Only The Beginning‘, and Viv is the result.

Viv expands on the work of Siri with a powerful conversational interface that can be used to accomplish much more than finding out the weather forecast, or launching an app.

Early reports say that the new AI created by Viv actually can learn too.
