Jonze described Her at the LA Film Festival earlier this summer as, "a movie set in the slight future of LA and Joaquin Phoenix's character buys the world's first artificially intelligent operating system... It basically turns into a human, this entity, this consciousness, on his computer."

Chris Pratt, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Olivia Wilde alos star in the film, which will be released in selected cinemas on November 20.

Arcade Fire is set to perform the score for the film.  The husband and wife-led band have been busy, just having their first child as well as preparing to unveil their new album near the release of Her.

The band has worked with Jonze before: an acoustic version of their song Wake Up was used in the trailer for the director's last movie, 2009's adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. Jonze also directed the band's 2011 short film Scenes from The Suburbs.
