 Project Glass
Want to see how Glass actually feels? According  to a new video released by Google, it's surprisingly simple. Say "take a picture" to take a picture. Record what you see, hands free. Even share what you see, live. Directions are right in front of you. Speak to send a message, or translate your voice. Get the notifications that matter most. Ask whatever's on your mind and get answers without having to ask.
Google has just released a video which shows what the actual user experience for a Project Glass project user will be—and it looks very cool.

The company has already teased the world with Project Glass videos before, but this one shows off the gadget's actual functionality. On-lens directions, voice-controlled messages, web searches, notifications, and even on-the-fly translation. This all looks very useful, and fun.

It looks like the phrase we will soon be hearing everywhere will be, "OK Glass."  In the video the phrase is used to initiate functions of the device.

While it's still not clear when an affordable pair of the glasses will become available, the video coincides with an update to Google's pre-order policy for the first iteration of the Glass headset.

Initially a small number of the Explorer edition—intended for developers and early adopters—were offered at last year's Google I/O conference. Now, the glasses will be available "creative individuals" via its #ifihadglass page.

Being an early adopter will cost you around $1,500. According to Google, "We’re still in the early stages, and while we can’t promise everything will be perfect, we can promise it will be exciting."
