Singularity
Using the technology his animation is about, illustrator Lew Keller has created a three minute whiteboard animation about Ray Kurzweil and the meaning of the Singularity.
This whiteboard animation explaining, in three minutes, the Technological Singularity concept made famous by Ray Kurzweil and other futurists.

Technological change is happening at an exponential rate, leading to a date in a future we can barely glimpse. Kurzweil, innovator, inventor, adviser to US Presidents and CEOs is one of the visionaries articulating this extraordinary development in human evolution.  His concept of the future is most clearly laid out in his book, The Singularity Is Near.

The film was illustrated  shot, edited and co-written by Lew Keilar and Stephen Smith served as co-writer and collaborator.

According to Keiler,
This film is about the Singularity, the most profound single prediction of the future I've encountered since Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarkes' 2001: A Space Odyssey.
This extraordinary concept, that human evolution is progressing towards a time of transcendent change, is fundamental to any celebration of technological innovation.
Keller is an illustrator who has been able to animate his work and become a film maker because of these technological advances.

Innovation in software and computing power has given him access to new modes of expression once only the province of major film and animation studios.
