 Robotics
Shafeeq Rabbani hopes that his TEDx talk doesn't just spread an idea, but in doing so inspires young minds to contribute to the field of robotics. According to him, "Robotics has the potential to provide solutions to many of the challenges facing planet earth."
S hafeeq Rabbani is an Undergraduate Engineering student of McMaster University. He is in many ways a typical student; well informed of a particular challenge facing humanity and working on possible ways of finding solutions and being a part of them.

Rabbani was driven by curiosity of finding out the mechanics of how things work from an early age and exploring this curiosity, led him to study Engineering. For many years, his interest has been in the field of robotics. He, like many others in the field, is trying to answer the most common question people have about robotics, i.e. "When will the robots get here?". Like many roboticists, he was inspired into robotics by the works of others. He hopes that his TEDx talk doesn't just spread an idea, but in doing so inspires young minds to contribute to the field. "Robotics has the potential to provide solutions to many of the challenges facing planet earth" - he says.
