An extended trailer for the new film, Cloud Atlas was made available today. The film explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

B ased on David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas, the new film from Matrix directors, the Wachowski brothers stars Tom Hanks and Halle Barry.  Based on the six minute feature trailer included below, the visually spectacular film looks amazing.

Cloud Atlas explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

The story leaps from century to century, with the same actors playing different characters — but they're all connected — from the 1850s to a harsh, post-apocalyptic future.

Cloud Atlas will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, and then hit theaters worldwide on October 26th.
